This weekend is a big weekend for girls and their dragons. How to Train Your Dragon 2 comes out and Game of Thrones wraps up with its season finale. So, I felt I needed to spotlight how awesome it is that girls/women riding dragons is a thing now.

Sure, HtTYD has Hiccup as the lead, and Daenerys is part of a large ensemble cast, but both of these characters are great examples of strong women in fantasy and they can both bring the fire without needing the boys!
